This somewhat re" semblcs the Karly Rose in shape; of a lighter red; earlier, and proved side by side, one-thlid I more prolific, while its qu lity is unsurijaesed. I The best reports are given in its favor from all j sections; quoted in our large markets as a leading j variety. My seed has been grown in a section of Northern Verinont best adapted to growing healthy tubers, and is very fine. Lb., 15c.; pk., 40c.; bu., $; bbl , Empire State. This resembles the Beauty of Hebron in shape and color; perhaps larger, wiiite, and very Btnooth: shallow, strong eyes, growing very thrifty. Its season is medium, a seedling of the White Eleiihant. Yields unusually large crops and is one of the best cooking potatoes arowu at all seasons. For dry, sandy, gravelly soil, it ia recommended in preference to others on the list.
