It belonged unquestionably to the larger class of burial- mounds, and was probably of like age and origin as the mound at the northwest end of the island. BA yr =j In this connection it is of importance to refer to the late discovery by Mr. Dawkins of platycnemic men at PertM-Chwaren, in Denbighshire, Wales, and to Prof. G.
