GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Jul 14, 2017) - Navy Senior Chief David L. Johnston, Senior Enlisted Leader Navy Operational Support Center Battle Creek, honors President Gerald R. Ford today at the gravesite wreath service. This day would be the 104th birthday of Ford. Before his appointment as president, Ford served in the Navy Reserve. He will be honored in Norfolk, Va., Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 with the commissioning of the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78).
