BLACK SEA (Oct. 23, 2014) - The Romanian navy frigate Regele Ferdinand (F-221) conducts a bilateral underway military engagement with the 6th Fleet command and control ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) and the USS Cole (DDG 67). Mount Whitney is conducting naval operations with allies and regional partners in the 6th Fleet area of operations in order to advance security and stability in Europe.
