160728-N-BL607-024 ARABIAN GULF (July 28, 2016) – Sailors assigned to the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) signal the movement of supplies during a replenishment-at-sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197). Monterey, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
