Mandatory credit Ronald George Wreyford Norrish (1897-1978), British chemist. Norrish lectured in physical chemistry at Emmanuel College, Cambridge from 1926. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, along with George Porter, in 1967 for their work on flash photolysis.
