Cr*S New Lima Wax Bean ^ first-class novelty. One of merit and a most desirable acquisition as a snap bean. Named Lima Wax, as it has bright, glassy foliage, and the bloom resembles the Dwarf Lima. Fark/ Cnrinrf PaKKarfo Earliest Flat Cabbage. Early as the Jersey Cany spring \^<lDDage. Wakefield. This variety fills a long-felt need. It is fully as early as the Jersey Wake- field, but the heads are of the round, flat type of Early Summer. It has very few, small outer leaves, thus allowing its being planted as close as any variety known, and producing the largest number of heads per acre. The type is thoroughly fixed and heads grow re- markably uniform in size and shape; stem short and heart very small, making almost entire head fit for use. The quality is extremely fine, veins small, and not the least sign of coarse- ness. A great point in its favor is the fact that the heads harden at an early stage of growth, so that they are really fit for use before fully matured.
