Abingdon, England - 2 October 2019 What, a one-word title? And what on earth is/are Bokeh? Well, these little fellas are well known to photographers, and some poor, benighted souls are actually obsessed with them. They are highlights in the out-of-focus area of a photographic lens, rendered - as here - as balls of light. Some photographers pay a fortune for lenses which render Bokeh in what they feel to be a flattering way. I think this is just silly, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. These Bokeh were created by accident, when my lens wouldn't focus on tricky highlights from the sun reflected in the River Thames. No doubt, Bokeh connoisseurs would sneer at these 'ugly', 'onion ring' Bokeh. Tough, says I. Just look at them as eye-catching abstract patterns of
