Tracking wagyu beef in a Jusco supermarket in Japan. Each supermarket has a computer which allows the customer to obtain information about the beef they are puchasing. Customers enter a 12 digit code from the meat package to obtain a production record which provides full traceability to the producer, a government certificate of BSE testing, and a photograph of the farmer producer.
