At the east end is a stately monument of thefamily of Wenman, having the following inscrip-tion on an oval tablet between two marble pillars : In Memory of the Right Honourable Richard LordViscount Wenman, Son of Thomas Wenman, Esq. andJane Daughter of William Lord Delawar: the saidThomas being Son of Sir Richard Wenman, and IsabelDaughter of John Lord Williams of Thame: whichRichard was Son of Thomas W^enman, Esq. and UrsulaDaughter and Heir of Thomas Giffard, Lord of this^Nlanor. The said Richard Lord Viscount Wenman hadto Wife Agnes, Daughter of Sir George Fermour ofEaslon-Neston, in the County of Northampton. Hedied on Good Friday, Anno Domini 1640, and the saidAgnes died Anno 1617. By the care of the Right Honourable Thomas LordViscount Wenman, their Son, this Monument waserected, who deceased the 25th of January, 1664,aged
