They showed no evidence of having been earth covered. The amount of potsherds recovered would argue an extended occupancy, and the condition of some of the vessels would suggest that the site is not extremely old. The preservation of sherds here was so good as to definitely sug- gest that this site is not as old as Site No. 10, the one to which it seems most closely related.
