Two young Afghan boys admired the work of the members of the Farah Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) as they dug their stuck humvee out of a ditch on Dec. 8, 2009, Farah Province, Afghanistan. The boys were rewarded with an ice-cold drink for their interest. Members of the PRT managed to free their vehicle in a matter of moments by not only digging the tires out, but also pulling the trapped humvee with two other M1151’s and tow cables. Afterwards, the PRT members carried on with their mission to assess two electrification projects in the province.
