King's Day Festival in Amsterdam. Large crowds of Dutch natives and tourists take part in the celebrations of Koningsdag, the King's birthday, on the Prinsengracht Canal. Queensday became Kingsday for the first time since 122 years in 2014. Queensday, Queen's Day = Koninginnedag and Kingsday, King's Day = Koningsdag. The new king, Willem Alexander changed the date as well: from April 30th to his own birthday April 27th. - This images replaces DYXBR5.
