Area of Altnaharra, Scotland. Picturesque aerial view of Loch Naver, above Grumbeg, on the Carn Gruama Beag ridgeline. The area was cleared of its inhabitants in the early 19th century during the Highland Clearances to make way for sheep farming. This photograph has been produced by merging three differently exposed images of the same scene. All of which were captured at approximately the same time - on a tripod mounted camera – and digitally processed to produce the resulting artistic rendition of the scene.
