Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Joseph Crump, a rifleman with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, uses proper shielding techniques during a one-week non-lethal weapons class while forward deployed in the Middle East, May 8, 2017. The training ensures SPMAGTF Marines are prepared to respond to a variety of scenarios that may occur across the USCENTCOM area of operations. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a well-trained crisis response unit that has the ability to project combat power over vast distances using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
