Nakago with one mekugi-ana, o-sujikai yasurime inscribed "Masatsune Showa Ju Hachi Nen". Older, slightly pitted kesho finish. Brass habaki with yasurime. Koshirae for a navy officer, gilt sakura bronze mounts. Smooth tsuba with o-seppa and amida-yasurime. Same-covered tsuka. Metal saya with two obitori and aisamenuri lacquer with some cracks.
