Berlin Tor underground U-Bahn railway station viaduct & Hallesches Tor brucke across Landwher canal. It serves the east-west U1 and the north-south U6 and is named after historic 18th century Hallsches Tor (Halle Gate) of the Berlin Customs Wall The U1 platform on an elevated railway viaduct on the northern banks of the Landwehr Canal opened on 18 February 1902 and the underground U6 platform was completed on 30 January 1923 The two platforms are connected by a pedestrian tunnel.
