The Richard de Bas paper mill, dating from 1432, is in the Auverne region of France, in the Laga valley. It is known as the Musee Historique du Papier and traces the development and manufacture of paper from its development in China in the first century AD to, and through itsbeginnings in Europe in the 13th century AD.
