Mammoth Whale. As its name suggests, this is a very large variety, often measuring three feet in length, and weighing over 100 lbs. A great favorite, more extensively grown for market than any other va- riety; of good size, color dark green, shell very hard; flesh yel- low, fine grained, dry and sweet. In quality it is the standard of ex- cellence. Our seed is of superior quality, having been grown for many years from carefully selected stock. There is none better.
