A statue of 17th century artist Petro Paulo (Peter Paul) Rubens in Groenplaats Square, Central Antwerp, with Our Lady's Cathedral in the background. The statue created in 1841 is by Guillaume Geefs a Belgium sculptor born in 1805. Four masterpieces by Rubens are housed in Our Lady's Cathedral - The Raising of The Cross (1609-1610), The Resurrection of Christ (1611-1612), The Descent fromThe Cross (1611-1614) and The Assumption of the Virgin (1625-1626).
