On September 18, Lasell opened her doorsto welcome her 1923-4 family, which crowdedthe halls with old girls and new. It is need-less to speak of the joy the old girls felt atbeing back again, and the new girls, in spiteof the strangeness of it all, seemed glad, course there were no classes, but everyone was busy attending to her program andin talking over the summers events. Thenthere were a few changes in Lasell which hadto be discussed: one of these was the formalopening of the Library, into which the oldChapel had been transformed. We are all de-lighted with the new arrangement, the cen-tral location, the spacious room and abundantlight. Thursday morning we were genuinelyglad to find ourselves in the Chapel and to hearthe rules and regulations set forth by Dr. Win-slow and Mr. Towne.
