The province of Verona is situated in the south-western area of Veneto, close to the eastern bank of Lake Garda, renowned for the beauty of its landscape with green and pretty hills, small and big this wonderful landscape, small towns with typical colored houses and magnificent villas, emblem of an old and refined prosperity. In the area of Verona there are many evidences with artistic and historic value: castles, towers, hermitages, monasteries, sanctuaries and old Romanic parishes. In the core of the province, the Valpolicella, land of history and tastes where, besides the numerous historical villas, the wine tradition is the distinctive element of the area. In this land exquisite worlds famous wines are produced, with special and unique Italian techniques. In the south there is the area of Basso Veronese, a world of its own, with its slow rhythms, silent places, different colours, a distinct way of living that welcomes the visitor.
