He set-tled in the southeastern part of Seekonk, andthere died May 2J. 1710. He was often oneof the raters, or assessors, and selectmen ofthe town. In [669 he was elected deputy tothe general court, and also served from 1677to 1690, with exception of 1687-8, when thetown elected no representative. From 1677 t01684 lie- is called Ensign Nicholas Peck, laterlieutenant, and finally captain. He married,about 1655, Mary, eldest daughter of Alexan-der Winchester.
