The greatest mask of all long-nosed goblin ones of Japan Kashouzan Mirokuji temple at Gunma Japan Asia


Mirokuji was begun as the temple of the Tendai sect in 848. In 1456, it is converted to a Soto sect and is the temple which is prayer place of The first General Ieyasu Tokugawa. When people come for prayer, they borrow one mask of long-nosed goblin. When their wish came true, there is a custom to come again for prayer with the mask and another new one . The greatest of all the long-nosed goblin masks in Japan, its length of the face: , its height of the nose: ,was enshrined in the Chuhodo for prayer of the victory of the World War 2 in 1939 years.
