The meeting unan-imously adopted a resolution requestingthe Commissioners of the District of Co-lumbia to prevent Sunday theatrical per-formances in Washington, and anotherpetitioning Congress to prohibit Sundaytheatrical performances in the Territor-ies and the District of Columbia. E. Sangster, of New York,widely known and beloved as a writer,delivered an address on the sanctity ofthe home that appealed both to the rea-son and hearts of her Epworth League Meeting, San Francisco,Cal, July 18-21, 1901 To Members and Connecting Lines:—The following resolutions were adopt-ed at meeting T. C. P. A., Chicago, 19, 1901: Resolved, 1. That advertising contracts shouldbe confined to the usual arrangementswith legitimate newspapers and thetransportation given in exchange mustbe furnished only to bona fide represen-tatives of papers. 2.
