At General General Curt Ernst of tomorrow in Codlea (Feketehalom, Zeiden) west of Brasso (Kronstadt) Archduke Karl was from June 1916, upper-commander of a sub-section of the Eastern Front and commanded several armies between Brody and the Carpathians. As part of this commander, Archduke Karl inspected his associated units.
