Lt. Paul W. Cloud took this photograph on November 13, 1918, in Meuse, France. The image shows an old German sawmill on the Beaumont-Laneuville road, which is the site where the 356th Infantry of the 89th Division received its final shelling at 10:45 on November 11th, the last 15 minutes of World War I. The photograph was released by the AEF Censor.
