Approaching Sorrento by road from the east, it is possible to park, even with a coach, at Montechiaro to witness this lovely view across the towns of Meta and Piano to Sorrento as it spills down the mountainside to the sea. The bay is an ideal spot for cruise ships to moor whilst their passengers enjoy the town.
