Cycling around Loch Rannoch Perthshire
Kinloch Rannoch is found 20 miles west of Pitlochry and 20 miles north west of Aberfeldy. It lies in a remarkably remote location at the east end of Loch Rannoch. What makes it remote is that the road through it continues west for just 18 miles to Rannoch Station before terminating on the edge of the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor. There are many things to do in this area These delights include hill walking (including the gentle climb of famous Schiehallion), superb cycling, Tay and Tummel river and loch fishing, glorious highland golf (we are a short drive from the great Scottish Highland golf courses at Pitlochry and Taymouth Castle), watersports on Loch Rannoch and Loch Tay – and on superb river rapids just sensational for the very best of white water rafting - and travel on the West Highland Railway.
