Frankincense resin
Frankincense resin. Pieces of frankincense resin, produced from the sap of boswellia trees (Boswellia sp.). The scented fragrance given off when the resin, also known as olibanum, is burned is used in herbal medicine to promote relaxation. Inhalation of steam infused with frankincense is believed to relieve bronchitis and laryngitis.
