Stress crack in the trunk of an aspen tree caused when a microburst that broke the top off the tree. This trunk was about 6 inches across. IMG-44521 shows the opposite side of the trunk at this level. IMG-44527 shows the broken top about 4 to 5 feet above the stress cracks.
