Cork City, Ireland. 19th July 2018. DC 19-7-18, White Street Car Park Closes to Make Way for High Rise Social Housing, Cork City. Yesterday morning Cork City Council closed White Street Car Park to make way for social housing. The car park was known around the city for its colourful graffiti murals that covered car park. The car park had a capacity of 87 spaces which adds to the 30 spaces that were lost near the old tax office on Sullivans Quay. This rased the number of spaces lost in the city to 107.
