DULUTH, MINN. The Market. Duluth experienced a cold spell dur- ing Christmas week, althougli it had no effect on business and everyone was well satisfied. Stock was fairly jilenti- ful in all lines except red carnations. Eoses were good, especially in the longer grades. The varieties selling best were Columbia, Eussell, Premier, Hoosier Beauty, Milady, Ophelia, Sunburst and White Killarney. There were a few Cecile Brunners, but the quality was poor. Poinsettias were fine and sold at good prices. Carnations were good and sold well even at advanced prices. Easter lilies, sweet peas, violets, calen- dulas and stevia were in supply equal to the demand. Valley was plentiful, but orchids were scarce. Potted plants, chiefly cyclamens, poinsettias, Christmas peppers, begonias, primulas and hya- cinths, were made up in varinus t'om- binations and sold well. Various Notes. The Duluth Floral Co. had a busy week and the staff was kept working until late hours most of the Aveek. This firm had attractive arrangements of English hollj', such as baskets, table centerpieces and wreaths. Red candles tie
