Steel and curved perspex covered walkway and cycle path bridging the Clydeside Expressway (A814), giving access to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), Glasgow, Scotland, now known as the Scottish Event Campus (SEC). Popular route for taking pedestrians and cyclists from Exhibition Railway Station to the SEC Centre – five interconnected exhibition and meeting spaces, SEC Armadillo and The OVO Hydro and the Clyde. The bridge is known colloquially as the ‘Smartie tube’ and has achieved recognition for its importance as a major city cycle route.
