In the year following an important congre-gational meeting was held to make a forward step inthe matter of church music. The progressive spirit ofthe people is indicated in the fact that this was accom-plished without opposition. It was determined thatthe version of Psalms commonly called Dr. Watts,as revised by Mr. Barlow, be used in public worship inthe congregation, instead of the version heretofore.
