New friends are made at a community end- of- year school event held in Konotop, Poland, June 4, 2018. The event hosted over 40 Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment (2-8 CAV), 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division deployed to the nearby Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area for Exercise Saber Strike 2018. Saber Strike has over 18,000 participants from 19 different countries participating across four host countries.
