Gold-plated hilt with acanthus leaves and serpent. The grip cap terminates in an eagle head. Ribbed ivory grip. Length 92 cm. Tombac scabbard with two suspension bands and rings, engraved with palm branches and eagle with the US coat of arms with 15 stars.
