Straight six-cylinder 2433cc Max bhp 100 at 4,400 rpm. High compression cylinder head with twin SU carburettors. Wilson pre-selection gearbox with fluid-flywheel. Body box section cruciform with light alloy bodywork and independent laminated torsion bar suspension. This model was manufactured for Daimler by Carbodies Ltd, Coventry in 1954. It was then exported to South Africa for the use of the Portuguese Ambassador. The present owner, Ivar Hellberg, is the son of, C Jack Hellberg, who was designer and Chief Executive of Carbodies at the time of manufacture.
