The Coronation of King Edward III, early 14th century manuscript. Edward III (1312-1377), King of England and Lord of Ireland from January 1327 until his death. He was the seventh king of the House of Plantagenet. Edward's coronation took place at Westminster Abbey on 1st February 1327 at the age of 14.
