In our issue of July last we described the incline railwayrunning from Mountain Park, near Holyoke, Mass., to thesunmiit of Mt, Tom. The Mt. Tom Railroad, which isleased to the Holyoke Street Railway Company, has proved. MT. PAVILION IN WINTER. to be a success in every way; last vear more than 60,000people were taken up the incline without an accident of anvkind. At the summit is a pavilion 76x92 ft. and two stories 32-: ^|S^g\le\v liigli with a cupola 25x31 ft. The first floor has parlors,dining room, kitchen, etc.; on the second floor is a hall withstage, which will accommodate 500 guests. The cupola isused as an observatory, and from it is to be had one of themost beautiful views to be found anywhere. Mountain Park
