Pont Louis XVI
The view taken in 1828, shows the Pont Louis XVI. The bridge crosses the Seine opposite Place Louis XV. It was designed by Perronnet and completed in 1790. It has five arches and some of the stone used for its construction came from the ruins of the Bastille. The image was drawn by J Nash under the direction of A Pugin and engraved by Fenner Sears and Co
