He threwhimself into its teachings with all the fire and enthu-siasm of his nature, and although he did not adherestrictly to its tenets, it led to other metaphysical re-search, and he at last truly found that form of expres-sion for which he had searched throughout his life—the consciousness of God in his soul manifested inevery experience of his life. During the latter part of his life he wrote con-stantly on these subjects, though
