Mars Express satellite image of Biblis Patera, a caldera (collapsed crater) formed from multiple violent eruptions from its parent volcano Biblis Tholus. Biblis Tholus is about 170 kilometers long, 100 kilometers wide, and reaches a height of around 3 kilometers. This caldera has a diameter of 53 kilometres and extends to a maximum depth of roughly kilometres. Data for this image were obtained in November 2004 by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on ESA's Mars Express.
