Ethiopia, Danakil desert, Dallol thermal area. TRAVELLING a million-miles around the planet this photographer has completed his quest to show the alien side to the Earth. From celestial auroras to fiery craters and cosmic seas, these pictures taken from around the world make our homely planet look like an extra-terrestrial world. Photographer Martin Rietze, 50, has travelled forty times around the planet over the past ten-years, visiting more than 50 countries across all seven continents, often risking his life to document these spectacular moments.
