As a decorative plant for contrast with the foliage of oilier plants it is one of the most effective. 15 cts. each ; $ per doz. Plumosus Nanus. This graceful variety has, to a great ex- tent, taken the place of Smilax in fine decorations; its foliage is finer than that of the most delicate fern, and will last fur weeks after being cut, the whole plant being of a bright, cheer- ful green. This new variety is of an erect habit of growth, producing fronds from 8 to 10 feet long, which when unfold- ing are a metallic bronzy color, which changes to a golden- green, finally maturing a rich emerald green.
