Certaldo, Florence Mercantia Mercantia is among the largest street theaters in Italy, takes place in Certaldo, a small town not far from Florence. More precisely, between Florence and Siena. It is held every year during the summer. The artists taken in this report are the Cafelulé, Bergamasche group of dancers. The vertical choreography transform and add value the urban space and the environment, experiencing new relationships with the lines, planes, volumes, forms of a place that is not the traditional stage; in this way the architecture and nature become an integral part of the scenery.
