Chartres Cathedral, France, illuminated during the main tourist season, April to September, with changing lights and music.

Chartres cathedral was built between 1134 and 1260. It is a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. Of special note within the cathedral are the stained glass windows and its labyrinth. It was always, and still is, a place of pilgrimage. Each summer the building is floodlit , along with other building and parts of the town. The changing lighting effects are accompanied by music.
