Our attention is frequently directed to other growers and dealers offering Azaleas of the same diameter as herein qno'ed, at much lower prices. We wish to say in reference to this stock, that there is more than one way of measuring an Aza'ea, and while a plant may measure 15 inches in diameter, it may be really worth less than another plant that only measures 12 inches in diameter. Most of this stock is grown on quickly without sufficient cutting back, the idea being to get a plant so many inches in diameter. AVe would here say that we do not ofi'er our stock in com- petition with this class of plant. We have been handling Azaleas as a specialty for many years ; last year we dis- tributed nearly 25,000 plants, almost without a single com- plaint of any consequence. Our prices are as low as first-class, bnshy, well budded stock can be supplied for, and we are certain that they will give entire satisfaction. Our growers in Belgium are among the most successful men handling Azaleas ; they have been specialists in this line for many years, and their principal stock is sent to us. All of our importations of Azaleas are sent here in bulk, and are all repacked at our own nurseries, so that any plants that may not have carried well are set aside. This insures onr customers of securing only first-class stock, which can- not be compared with cheap assorted case lots which are made up in Belgium, and are distributed on this side jus
