Early Ford Tri-motor, a 1930's era airliner at the dawn of the golden era of air travel. Initially the mainstay of air travel, the advent of the Douglas DC-3 put the Tri-motor out to pasture. This particular plane was seen at the 1978 Atlantic City TransFair 78. Also note the late 1970's Ford Pinto parked next to the plane.
