Corporal Hanson of the Signal Corps captured this photograph on September 21, 1918. It shows Private Stephan Faatz cleaning a French "75" gun immediately after a barrage. The gun, which is mounted in an old French Artillery position, is well camouflaged. The location is Bourbach le bas, Alsace, Germany. This is Battery A of the 120th Regiment Field Artillery, formerly part of the 32nd Division. The image was passed by the American Expeditionary Forces Censor, but the exact date of issue is not given.
